2023-24 SEASON FAQs
1. How much does the season cost? This figure will not be finalized until the number of players/teams are established. Note that our program only charges as much as we need to break even on our season budget. Typically, the program fee is approximately $300 - 400, plus the cost of uniforms.
2. Tell me more about uniforms. Uniforms include a reversible game jersey and shorts, along with a long-sleeve warm-up and an optional pinny. The entire kit typically costs $125. We are aiming to have uniforms available to try on immediately after each tryout session.
3. My daughter would like to wear a certain number. How does that work? As a program, we give returning players first dibs on preferred numbers. To that end, all new players must provide 2-3 number preferences at sign-in. Please have this information ready to keep the process moving.
4. How far do you travel for games? We play in the Inter-County Basketball League (ICBL). Venues are at most a 30-minute drive from Cherry Hill.
5. What is the time commitment? Beginning in mid-November through the end of February, teams will practice twice weekly for 1 - 1.5 hours per practice at either Rosa Middle School or Cherry Hill West High School. Coaches will communicate specific times and locations in the weeks ahead. Each team will typically play 14-16 games between December and February. Some teams might elect to play in tournaments. ICBL playoffs and championship games happen the first week of March. There is no conflict with fall or spring sports.
6. I want my daughter to play, but our family is experiencing a financial hardship. Tryouts are free. If your daughter is selected to a team.our Board will consider hardship assistance on a case-by-case basis.
